Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Junior Consultant to join our vibrant team. As a Junior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting edge projects, collaborating with an amazing team, and maximizing value to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Support and deliver complex projects or key tasks from initial concept through to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to client specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
- Support regular updates and reports to clients, ensuring transparency and satisfaction.
- Support meeting client requirements and providing solutions to ensure project success.
Technical Delivery
- Utilize the latest technologies and best practices to create innovative solutions.
- Provide technical support on a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Learn industry trends, standards, and technologies, integrating them into projects.
- Participate in reviews and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
Development and Collaboration
- Be actively engaged in culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with and share knowledge within the team.
- Seek out feedback and development opportunities to enhance skills and performance.
Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and environmental standards
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the development of decision frameworks, business processes and tools that incorporate budget development, prioritization, risk analysis, performance modelling and life cycle costing.
- Contributing to the development, implementation and review of best practices; collaborating with clients across Canada and beyond.
- Supporting the development of policies, strategies, plans and processes.
- Documenting current and target processes, including gathering information and input from interested parties.
- Supporting the development of data management strategies and developing processes to collect and maintain asset condition information; supporting the development and administration of asset inventories.
- Preparing and presenting to clients.
- Conducting detailed analysis and forecasting.
- Development of tools and spreadsheet models for the simulation and analysis of complex scenarios.
- Preparing and participating in presentations on technical subjects.
- Developing and preparing a variety of written documents, including technical reports, work plans, business cases, and proposals.
- Supporting workshops and meetings with a wide range of participants.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients using principles of excellent customer service.
- Doing amazing work with amazing clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in report writing, presentations, data analysis, and team collaboration at an academic or professional level.
Skills:
- Basic understanding of technical principles in area of specialization. Willingness to grow and develop in the support of a variety of projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
